The final Endurance race of the 2025 GT Cup season at Balaton Park was dominated by Mateusz Lisowski and Przemysław Bieńkowski. In GT4, victory went to Matyas Faiereisl in the BMW M4 GT4 after a spectacular battle with the Aston Martin.
Lisowski, driving the PTT Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3, started from pole position alongside Robert Lucák and Dan Skalický in a DCR Racing Porsche 911. On the second row were Bob Bau in a Porsche from Motorsportzentrum Ried and Benedek Major in the GFS Racing Lotus Exige.
The third row was filled by GT4 entries: Petr Koukola and Václav Janík in the Janík Motorsport Aston Martin Vantage, and Matyas Faiereisl in the Šenkýř Motorsport BMW M4 GT4. LEMA Racing’s Iztok Armič/Niko Pulič lined up behind them in a Mercedes-AMG GT4, with Kálmán Bódis starting at the back in the Silver Sting.
The start was clean and Lisowski immediately held the lead, pulling away lap by lap. Behind him, the DCR Porsche settled into second place, gradually building a gap over Bob Bau as the two fought for GTC honors.
Major had a slow getaway but carved his way through the field, eventually climbing to fourth overall and first in the GTX class.
The spectacle battle of the race came in GT4 between the Aston Martin and the BMW. Koukola held Faiereisl at bay for half the race, and it seemed the pit stops would prove decisive. After the stop, the green Aston Martin, now in the hands of Václav Janík, retained the lead, but Faiereisl remained glued to its rear wing. Eventually, Faiereisl found a way past Janík on track to seize the GT4 lead, which he held to the chequered flag.
In the end, Lisowski and Bieńkowski secured a commanding GT3 victory in the black Mercedes. Lucák and Skalický triumphed in GTC, Major claimed the win in GTX, and Faiereisl emerged victorious in GT4.
