The GT Cup Series is back. The championship already visited Slovakia Ring earlier this spring for a three-hour endurance race, and now returns for a more traditional weekend format featuring two sprint races and one endurance event. The fight for category titles is tightening as the season heads toward its conclusion.

Spectators at Slovakia Ring can look forward to a magnificent grid, showcasing all the iconic brands from the world of motorsport. The GT3 class will feature six cars representing Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Mercedes. Local heroes Antal Zsigo, Rudolf Beňo and Zdeno Mikuláško will be joined by Petr Fulín, Stanislaw Jedliński, Krystian Korzeniowski and Piotr Wira.

The duel between Mercedes-AMG GT4s and the Aston Martin GT4 continues. Lema Racing will enter two Mercedes-AMG GT4s for Miguel Gaspar and Andrej Makarovič, while Petr Koukola will take the wheel of a British Racing Green coloured Aston Martin.

In the GTC1 class for Porsche Cup cars, Kálmán Bodis of Bovi Motorsport and Bob Bau of MZR Motorsportzentrum Reid are among the favorites. MZR team will also run three KTM X-Bow GT2 cars in the GTX class, which will boast the largest grid of the weekend.

KTM, Lamborghini, Ferrari and Mercedes drivers all have their eyes on victory at Slovakia Ring in GTX. Dennis Waszek leads the GTX standings in his Lamborghini, with Max Grip second in a KTM. Local fans will be cheering for Maťo Homola and Viktor Mráz in KTMs, while Štefan Rosina and Filip Sládečka will race Lamborghinis for ARC Bratislava. Their team boss, Miro Konopka, will also be in action, entering his Ligier LMP3 as a strong favorite in the D5 class, which also includes two Praga R1T cars for Roman Roubíček and Alex Tlustý.

A largely similar field will also contest the one-hour endurance race, with sprint drivers joined by their endurance teammates. RTR Projects will join the grid with its KTM entries, while Mičánek Motorsport will field Jakub Knoll and Josef Záruba in the GTC class. GT4 will also see Porsche and Audi entries added to the mix compared to the sprint format.

The sprint races are scheduled for Saturday at 14:25 and Sunday at 13:20, with the endurance race taking place on Saturday at 17:20.
