Local hero Miro Konopka set the fastest time in endurance qualifying on Friday afternoon for another round of the GT Cup Championship at the Slovakia Ring. The Slovak driver topped the session in his Ligier LMP3. Just half a second behind were the duo of McKansy and Tweraser in their Lamborghini Huracán GTX class.
In the GT3 class, the fastest were Jedliński and Korzeniowski with their Ferrari 296. The GTC class was dominated by Jakub Knoll and Josef Záruba in a Lamborghini Super Trofeo. In the GTC1 class for Porsche Cup cars, the quickest crew was Robert Lucák and Dan Skalický. The GT4 category was ruled by Miha Primožič and Mathias Lodi in Mercedes-AMG GT4 cars.
The Endurance race will take place on Saturday at 17:20.
