Jesse Krohn handles damp conditions best in GT3 class in qualifying

Overnight rain in Brno left tricky morning conditions for qualifying, which determined the grid for the afternoon GTC Cup sprint race. The fastest among the GT3 cars was BMW factory driver Jesse Krohn, driving a BMW M4 GT3 for the Racing Trevor team. The same model, in the hands of Rudolf Beňo, was second in the class, with Piotr Wira third in a Mercedes-AMG GT3 and Aliyyah Koloc fourth in an Audi R8.

In the GTX class, Marius Aigner set the pace in a KTM X-BOW GT2, ahead of his teammates Jack Russel and Max Grip in identical cars. Fourth place went to Dennis Waszek in a Lamborghini Super Trofeo.

The GTC class was led by Mičánek Motorsport teammates Bronislav Formánek and Josef Záruba, both in Lamborghini Super Trofeos, with Formánek coming out on top. Third in GTC and the winner of the GTC1 subcategory with a Porsche 911, was Robert Lucák ahead of Bob Bau.

Qualifying ended on a high note for the Buggyra ZM Racing team, with drivers Martin Hudec and Adam Lacko taking the top spots in their Mercedes-AMG GT4 cars. Petr Koukola followed in third with an Aston Martin, Grega Šimunovič was fourth and the top five was rounded out by Faireisl Matyáš.
