Lausitzring has been a part of GT Cup’s calendar since 2024. It has a feature which is unique in continental Europe: a high-speed oval race track, as used in the United States by NASCAR and IndyCar. The racerack was opened in 2000, so it will celebrate its 25th birthday in 2025.
The racetrack itself is 3 478 meters long, consists of twelve corners.
