The endurance race traditionally took place in the late afternoon. At Automotodrom Brno, nearly 30 cars started in the one-hour GT Cup Series race, which featured one safety car period and was ultimately won by Piotr Wira in a Mercedes, after he made the winning pass with just three minutes remaining.
On the front row, Miro Konopka lined up in a Ligier LMP3 alongside Richard Gonda in a BMW M4 GT3. The second row belonged to teams HP Racing and Racing Trevor, while JMT Racing and Good Speed Racing started from row three. In total, 27 cars took the start, and the opening lap passed without incident.
Gonda led the GT3 class and, for a brief moment, also the race overall, before being overtaken by a green Lamborghini from the P9 Challenge Series. He nevertheless remained in control of the GT3 category.
The race ran smoothly in the opening stages, with drivers battling for positions ahead of the mandatory mid-race pit stops, where many crews changed drivers. Just before the pit window opened, however, contact happend between Konopka’s Ligier and Adam Kout’s Praga R1 as they fought for the D5 class lead. The clash happened just before the braking zone for Turn 1, sending Kout backwards into the barriers at high speed. The Praga was heavily damaged and the safety car had to be deployed.
Racing resumed with 26 minutes to go and drivers immediately began heading into the pits. After the stops, Gonda handed his BMW over to Rudolf Beňo, who kept the lead. But Piotr Wira was closing the gap lap by lap and, with only three minutes left, made the winning move to take over the GT3 and overall lead. Third in GT3 went to Jesse Krohn and Gregor Zsigo in a BMW M4 GT3, while Petr Fulín and Aliyyah Koloc brought their Audi R8 GT3 home in fourth and fifth were Dennis Waszek with Gregor Zsigo.
The GTC class was dominated by Mičánek Motorsport, whose two Lamborghini Super Trofeos finished first and second, Jakub Knoll/Josef Záruba ahead of Bronislav Formánek/Štefan Rosina. Third and also first in GTC1 was Robert Lucák in a Porsche 911.
The GT4 class featured a fierce battle between the Buggyra ZM Racing Mercedes of Adam Lacko and Miroslav Mikeš and two BMWs from Šenkýř Motorsport. In the end, basically photo finish, Lacko and Mikeš claimed victory, with Dobroslav Kárník second and Matyáš Faireisl third. Petr Koukola and Václav Janík finished fourth in their Aston Martin, while Miha Primožič and Mathias Lodi in Mercedes rounded out the top five.
In GTX Marius Aigner and Reinhard Kofler took a convincing win ahead of teammate Max Grip. D5 class was won by Miro Konopka in LMP3.
