The GT Cup continued its 2025 season over the past weekend with another action-packed round, this time as part of the Racing Journal Speed Fest at Autodrom Most. As always, the series offered an exciting showcase of sports cars from a wide range of manufacturers.

Slovak driver Miro Konopka arrived in Most with his familiar yellow Ligier LMP3 prototype and dominated every race he entered in the D5 category, whether in the sprint races or the Saturday endurance event.

His son Adam delivered a similarly commanding performance, piloting a yellow Lamborghini Huracán to victory in the GTX class. In the first sprint, he even took the overall first place, and in the second sprint, a time penalty for Dennis Waszek, who had cut the first chicane, helped Adam take another top finish. He was just as strong in the endurance race, leaving Most with the maximum possible points haul.

Local hero Petr Fulín didn’t miss the chance to race on home turf, bringing his Audi R8 GT3 LMS to Most. He lived up to his role as the favorite, topping the qualifying sessions and confidently leading the GT3 category in the sprint. For the endurance race, he shared the car with Aliyyah Koloc, who drove the opening stint of the one-hour race before handing over to Fulín. In their first race together, they finished third overall, behind two BMW crews. Antal Zsigo took second place in a BMW M4 GT3, while the victory went to the pairing of Gregor Zsigo and Dennis Waszek.

The Mičánek Motorsport team entered their Lamborghini Super Trofeo in the sprint races this time, with Josef Záruba taking first-place trophies in both races. He was joined once again by Jakub Knoll for the endurance race, just as they have been all season, and the duo claimed their fourth consecutive win in the GTC class.

Among the Porsche 911 Cup cars, Karel Neffe was the fastest in the first sprint, while Dan Skalický, making his return to the GT Cup after a long break, took the win in the second. He capped off a successful weekend with the top finish among the Porsche entries in the endurance race, where he shared the car with Robert Lucák Jr.

In a month, the GT Cup will head to Slovakia Ring, and the season finale is set to take place in September at Brno, following tradition.
