Qualifying for the three-hour endurance race at the Slovakia Ring was dominated by Slovak crews. Miro Konopka, Adam Konopka and Zdeno Mikulaško secured pole position in their Ligier LMP3 prototype, ahead of Antal Zsigo, who will share his BMW M4 GT3 with BMW factory driver Max Hesse.
The Konopka father-and-son duo, along with Mikulaško, will also be racing a Lamborghini Huracán GTX. This means they had to plan their stint strategy very carefully to manage driver swaps between the prototype and GTX car in time.
Fourth place on the grid went to the crew of Gregor Zsigo, Dennis Waszek and another BMW factory driver, Jesse Krohn, who will share a BMW M6 GT3. Fifth was Piotr Wira in a Mercedes-AMG GT3.
The top KTM X-BOW was entered by Carin Racing, featuring Viktor Mráz and Maťo Homola, who will be joined by sim racer Jaroslav Honzík.
Seventh overall and fastest in the GTC class were Jakub Knoll and Josef Záruba in a Lamborghini Huracán. Right behind them was the top GTC1-class Porsche, driven by Radim Adámek and David Dziwok.
The race begins on Saturday at 16:15.
