Yellow shines at Most: Konopkas take first and second, Fulín wins in GT3

The yellow Lamborghini Huracán GTX driven by Adam Konopka crossed the finish line first in Race 1 of the Racing Journal Speed Fest at Autodrom Most. Just three tenths of a second behind was his father, Miro Konopka, in a Ligier LMP3 prototype. The winner among GT3 cars was Petr Fulín in an Audi R8 GT3.

Miro Konopka and Petr Fulín started from the front row, followed in the rolling start by Dennis Waszek and Adam Konopka. The third row featured Rudolf Beňo and Antal Zsigo.

Adam Konopka launched into the lead with his Lamborghini, followed by his father Miro in second. Petr Fulín held third, and Dennis Waszek slotted into fourth.

Antal Zsigo went straight through the first chicane and returned to the track in fifth ahead of Marius Aigner, Rudolf Beňo, Josef Záruba, Roman Roubíček and Max Grip in tenth.

Roman Roubíček, driving the Praga R1T, attempted to overtake Josef Záruba’s Lamborghini Huracán GTC into the first chicane, but outbraked himself and went straight through, losing another position.

Meanwhile, Rudolf Beňo in a BMW M4 GT3 was pressuring Aigner in the KTM X-BOW GT2 but spun in the esses and lost his a time.

The race was controlled from the front by the Konopka duo—Adam leading in the GTX class with his Lamborghini, and Miro best of the D5 class in his prototype.

Shortly before the end, Miguel Gaspar stopped trackside in Turn 11 with his Mercedes-AMG GT4 and retired. The race continued under yellow flags in that sector only.

Adam Konopka crossed the finish line first overall, claiming victory in the GTX class. Dennis Waszek and Marius Aigner completed the GTX podium. Miro Konopka crossed the line second overall, winning the D5 class, with Roman Roubíček finishing third in class.

The GT3 class was won by Petr Fulín, who finished third overall, followed by Antal Zsigo in second and Rudolf Beňo in third.

Josef Záruba won the GTC class in a Lamborghini Huracán, while Karel Neffe triumphed in GTC1 ahead of Robert Lucák Jr., with Bob Bau finishing third.

The GT4 class was dominated by Adam Lacko in a Mercedes-AMG GT4, with his teammate Martin Hudec in second. Third place in GT4 went to Mykhailo Kohan in a Porsche Cayman GT4.
