Local heroes Zdeno Mikuláško and Miro Konopka will start from the front row in today’s GT Cup Sprint race at the Slovakia Ring. Teammates from ACR Bratislava set the pace in the morning qualifying session.
Mikuláško was the overall fastest in his Lamborghini Huracán GTX, also winning the GTX class. Konopka will line up alongside him in his Ligier LMP3, after topping the D5 class. The best among the GT3 cars was Krystian Korzeniowski in the Olimp Racing Ferrari 296 GT3. The Polish driver will start next to another Slovakian racer Filip Sládečka in a Lamborghini Huracan GTX.
Petr Fulín qualified fifth overall and second in the GT3 class in his Audi R8 GT3 LMS, with Rudolf Beňo in a BMW just behind him.
In the GTC1 class, the fastest was Bob Bau, while Petr Koukola topped the GT4 class in an Aston Martin GT4.
